I had the same problem. Access to the website of the printer manufacturer (like HP, or is) your printer and see if they have software available for download. If she is doing it, all you have to do is download and install without problems ... If you do not see a new printer with the software available, or wait around to buy, if you come later.

does not work because Vista is far ahead of XP, for the recognition of their existing software and hardware is used. There are exceptions to this route, but mostly it is. That's what I try to go too far could .... The manufacturer's website and see the printer driver, if not a "Vista", which can be installed so that Vista recognizes the printer.

Microsoft and all computer experts have told us that the new drivers are often required to provide full compatibility to access is established.

They also told us (and experts, but not Microsoft wait) to 6 months before writing all deficiencies have been corrected.

They also told us (and many publishers and PC Mag anyway) if you (like me) buy a new Vista PC, is a good idea to check the printer and a scanner (by the dealer like me) and say the Dealer:

Let me know if everything works and I'll pick up on my PC and pay.

Meanwhile, I'm home, happy with my old computer back on it with XP Home.

Hi, When I received my new Dell computer with XP, I added my printer. It HP recognizes my printer as a foreign object. It really wanted me to try a Dell printer.I to see the new printer instructions carefully. I think you can mount the printer on your system, a printer is a printer, are boss.Good luck.

could be in the driver tried to leave to find your CPU, and install them?
Then drag
close
Restart
close it again and again to restart.
I think you should go to the website of your printer and new drivers
